Entertainment has evolved since the 1920s and 1950s. All of the technology we have today wasn’t around then, so what did people do for fun in their leisure time? This article compares and contrasts entertainment in the 1920s with the 1950s. Life in the United States changed greatly after World War I and again after World War II. A major difference was rising incomes. With more money, Americans had more to spend on luxuries such as entertainment.
