Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of the United States. Sequoyah, was a member of the Cherokee nation.

Andrew Jackson and Sequoyah both had a tremendous impact on Native Americans. Jackson's was negative, forcing their removal from the native lands. Sequoyah's was positive by creating the Cherokee alphabet.
